Cara earned her nursing degree from Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 2005, later moving from the Philadelphia suburbs to Central Pennsylvania to work at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Children’s Hospital to work as an RN in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Achieving her BSN from Penn State University in 2005 and later becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University in 2021. She lives in New Cumberland PA. She has 3 children and enjoys photography, crocheting, and carpentry.
