Michael grew up in Montana and did his undergraduate and physician assistant training at the University of Washington. After school he stayed in Washington state working in family medicine at a tribal health clinic where he focused on adult and geriatric populations with a special interest in anticoagulation medicine. Being able to form long term relationships with his patients is the aspect of primary care that he enjoys most. He and his wife have a houseful of animals who tend to run the place, and they enjoy traveling.
